The great aesthetic value of the azalea lies in its rich and dense flowering in spring, as its single or double flowers, in various colours, monochrome or bicoloured, remain on the plant for several weeks.<\/p>\n<h4>Care<\/h4>\n<p>Azalea is a relatively sensitive plant. If azalea is planted outdoors, in a garden or in a pot on the balcony, choose a semi-shaded spot, protected from north winds. Azalea prefers medium temperatures and high humidity and only in this environment does it thrive and give us its rich flowering.<\/p>\n<h4>Watering<\/h4>\n<p>Water every time the soil dries out, about twice a week.<\/p>\n<h4>Temperature<\/h4>\n<p>During the winter season, we make sure to protect the azalea from low temperatures, during the summer months, we ensure a shady place and away from the intense and hot sun.<\/p>\n<h4>Transplanting<\/h4>\n<p>Azalea belongs to the acidophilic plants, which means it needs acidic soil, rich in organic matter to grow and give us its impressive flowering. For planting in pots or in a garden pot, we choose special soil for acidophilic plants.<\/p>\n<h4>Tips<\/h4>\n<p>If we overwater, it warns us by closing its flowers.
